Thanksgiving our way was the best. 🧡 Thanksgiving our way was the best. 🧡
If you feel mentally and emotionally drained, you’re not alone.

In fact, I’m not promising you will never feel mentally and emotionally drained ever again because you likely will.

What I can promise is that it’s so much easier to become mentally and emotionally stronger when you have a coach to look at your mind with.

Getting stronger looks like asking questions along the lines of:

Does thinking this serve me?

What else could be true here?

What is this feeling trying to bring to my attention?

These are the types of questions I ask myself and the other Modern Mama’s daily, and it changes everything.

Link is in the bio for my free group, or for my membership - you choose what speaks to you right now and I promise you’ll become mentally and emotionally stronger.

What I’ve come to learn over these 2 years…

✨Motherhood isn’t to be feared. It’s full of opportunities of growth for both baby and mama.

✨Everything is happening just as it should. All of the plans you had that you thought were perfect are dull in comparison to the plans that have already been written for you.

Trust your motherhood journey to be happening for you, and I promise you’ll have the best years of your life. 🧡

I love you more than anything Miss Kai Marie. Thank you for the most beautiful 2 years of my life.

2 years ago tomorrow 🧡 you’ve changed my life 2 years ago tomorrow 🧡 you’ve changed my life in ways I never saw coming. I think that’s what’s made it so beautiful though.

I didn’t know what to expect.
I had no expectations for how it was supposed to be.
I didn’t listen to leaps or regressions.
I didn’t have a niece to compare you to.

I let you be you because you’ve let me be me.
I love you more than anything and am so grateful for the day you came into our world. 🧡

Envision a pile of laundry. It looks out of contro Envision a pile of laundry. It looks out of control and you don’t even know what all is in that pile because it’s been so long since you’ve dared to touch it.

The minute you start to do something with it you feel better and more in control of the situation.

The less you look at it the more it seems to build and the taller the pile seems to get.

The more you schedule time on set days to look at it, the more it seems to be much less daunting.

The same goes for your thoughts. The less you look at them, the scarier they seem and the anxiety starts to build.

When you take the time to look at what thoughts are causing the anxiety, you become more in control.

You can take control of your anxiety, you just have to have the courage to take a look at it head on.

Doing this with a coach will make this 10x easier, and I’m here for you and these conversations, mama. 🤍

This past weekend I sat down and wrote a letter to This past weekend I sat down and wrote a letter to Kai, but also to myself about all of the memories and moments we had together while she was 1 year old.

If it weren’t for The Modern Milestones Time Capture and the photos on my phone, I would have forgotten SO much.

She turns 2 on Thursday and man did I have a lot to say about our past year together.

What I’ll say here tho is -

Take the time to reflect.

Take the time to sit down for one hour and just reflect on how you’ve been as a parent, as a person, as a wife, as a human.

If you don’t you miss a huge opportunity to

1. Relieve some of the best moments.

2. Notice and change some patterns you don’t want to keep up when it comes to how you’ve been parenting recently.

3. Celebrate the habits you do want to keep in place.

Write the letter. You won’t regret it.
